Maximizes the Plant load to attain maximum capacity utilization and labor hours in closed coordination with planner/facility schedulers, manufacturing supervisors, engineering and other support groups.
•Develops Long Range Capacity Plan reports and recommends alternatives to management.
•Conducts capacity management meetings to discuss strategies to comply with the Pull and Level Load Plan
•Generates and maintains standard production rate database in closed coordination with engineering to promote efficient and economical utilization of personnel and facilitate cost analysis assessment.
•Prepares and maintains charts, graphs and diagrams illustrating work flow and cell capacity installed.
•Designs plant layouts (measurements and study of available space) to provide maximum possible operating efficiency. Designs work stations considering ergonomic factors.
