SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Update, maintain, organize and coordinate the release of tools and spare parts. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices. Expedite purchase orders of tools and spare parts. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, Client’s requests, or client’s descriptions of malfunctions. Receive and fill telephone orders for parts. Fill customer orders from stock. Prepare sales slips or sales contracts. Take inventory of stock. Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money. Follow up purchase orders for prompt or target date delivery. Receive and deliver tools and parts according with established procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor to support normal operations.
